What a bank-linked tracker asks for

Most subscription trackers find your subscriptions by reading your bank transactions, and to read them they need access to your account. Rocket Money asks for “the username and password that you’d use to access your bank account online”, entered through a third-party linking provider, and warns that new transactions can take 24 to 48 hours to appear (Rocket Money help center, April 2026).

Plenty of people are fine with that. If you’d rather keep your banking login to yourself, you can track the same subscriptions from what you know about each one: its name, its price and the day it charges.

How Kelo works without your bank

1. Add each subscription or bill once. Type the name, the amount and how often it charges: every week, every month, every three months, once a year, or any interval up to every two years. Kelo recognizes nearly 300 popular services and shows their logos.
2. See the month before it happens. Kelo adds up what this month already owes and lists each upcoming charge with its date. A home screen widget shows how your month is going without opening the app.
3. Get a heads-up before each charge. With Premium, Kelo sends a notification 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 or 14 days before each renewal, in time to cancel a free trial or a service you stopped using.

One-off spending, like coffee, groceries or fuel, goes in the same app, free and without a limit.

Where your data stays

Kelo never asks for your bank login. The expenses you add stay on your iPhone unless you turn on sync, which comes with Premium.
